The death of Fatai Rolling Dollars at age 86 shook many Nigerians. He was the oldest performing singer in the country. During his life, he assisted numerous big and upcoming artistes in the country


One artiste who felt bad about his death is 2Face Idibia, who is working towards being a legend in the Nigerian music industry.

In a recent interview, 2Face said he  regretted that he didn’t do a collaboration with Rolling Dollar before he past away.

His words:

“regrettably, I didn’t have the oppurtunity of recording with him but I was in a show where he performed too. I performed beside him".

Fatai Rolling Dollars Dies at 85

 Nigeria lost its oldest  practicing musician, Pa Fatai Olayiwola Olagunju, aka Fatai Rolling Dollar to illness this morning. He died this morning at Marritol Hospital located at  Sonibare Street in Surulere.

Funmilayo Olagunju confimred the story, and that he died at age 85, survived by 3 wives and 16 children.
