After spending nearly two years in jail for attempted illegal gun ownership
and levy evasion, US rapper Ja Rule has been released from jail. Ja Rule as released from Ray Brook government jail in New York today
Tuesday May 7th but will remain on home confinement until July 28th.
Ja Rule was sentenced to two years in jail for attempted criminal possession of a weapon and 28 months for tax evasion. He carried out both sentences concurrently.
