Chudi Nwike Killed By Kidnappers

From my point of outlook, i would say the ransom topic was just an hoax...well here's the article

We have learned that Dr. Chudi Nwike, the previous Deputy administrator of Anambra State who was kidnapped on March 19, has been killed by his kidnappers who had claimed a N30 million ransom and really assembled a negotiated amount.

The Action assembly of Nigeria (ACN) said that the body was recognised at the Agbor Police position in Delta State by the Anambra State Chairman of the party), head Amaechi Obidike, State Secretary Barr Emeka Ibe, and the victim’s male sibling, Dr.Bufo Nwike.

The statement documented that the family had discussed and paid a ransom prior to the discovery of the body, Bufo Nwike management the negotiations and arranging to pay to the kidnappers N5million at an unrevealed location in Delta State.

That ransom was in paid on April 5, but the kidnappers, after collecting the cash from the courier, slash off all further communications. The body was found out then.

“We are tremendously ashamed of the attenuating factors of his death and desire we could now rub out from annals that a previous Deputy administrator of a State in Nigeria died in this manner,” ACN said in the statement.
